What the entry gives up is the Bitcoin door for the vendor who only takes Bitcoin, a cost the market chose to pay. For a buyer who was going to reach for Monero anyway, the missing coins were never going to be used. Deposit addresses generate fresh per order, and the required confirmations for Monero land in around twenty minutes.
