There is no Bitcoin line and no swap running behind the scenes to imitate one. You fund with Monero and you spend Monero, and the whole design follows from that single decision.
The reasoning is the reasoning that puts anyone on Tor in the first place. A public chain remembers every payment. Monero does not carry that history for the wallet to leak. Everything else about the market is conventional and competent: escrow, vendor bonds, moderated disputes, profiles that state a deal count and dispute ratio before you commit.
